OPS (Okemos Public Schools) developed a rebrand in 2022. While the branding and messaging were strong, the district had not yet fully implemented the updated identity in ways that consistently reinforced the changes across its communications ecosystem.

When I joined the district in 2024, the focus was on establishing a stronger social media presence and modernizing communications using current best practices. Since then, I have launched and grown Okemos’ Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube presence, generating more than 365,000 organic views across Facebook and Instagram. Each day, we continue strengthening the connection between OPS and the community we serve through transparency, consistency, and professional communication.
